State of Live – Economic Research Study of Denver’s Independent Live Sector

Join us as we unveil Denver’s own regional economic impact report on the independent live entertainment sector. This launch connects our local work to the efforts of the National Independent Venues Association (NIVA), the organization leading national advocacy for independent venues and promoters. We’ll introduce the State of Live, the first comprehensive national economic research study examining independent venues, festivals, promoters and performing arts centers across all 50 states and Washington, DC. Learn how Denver Arts & Venues (DAV) and Colorado Creative Industries (CCI) are building on this research to strengthen and support independent live performance in Denver.

Join Denver Arts & Venues for an engaging DENVER CREATES Speaker Series event featuring Community Arts Stabilization Trust (CAST) and CAST CO—leaders in securing long‑term, affordable creative spaces for artists and cultural organizations. You’ll learn how their models are taking shape nationally and why Colorado is an important next step, including CAST Colorado’s current work with the Clayton Early Learning Center, a project now in their portfolio. After the presentations, enjoy a guided tour and open house of the Clayton campus. All are welcome to learn, connect, and imagine Denver’s creative future.
